An assortment of surreal digital collages created over the past few months (Spring 2026). There is no real theme here other than me just getting to grips with what is a new medium for me. I'm still at the stage where I am testing various programs and platforms to see what works best for me. I want to be able, ideally, to create a work in a single piece of software. This means that I have to be able to import photos and graphics, transform and distort them, and be able to draw or paint. The software must be relatively frictionless or have the capacity to become so with some practice - I want the technical side to require little thought so that the expressive comes through easily. I have always preferred emotional art to clever art.
